Hi, I’m Michael.

For more than 30 years, I’ve worked in and around technology — long enough to remember when “getting online” meant a screeching modem, and long enough to watch the tools change faster than most people can keep up with. Along the way, I noticed something: the people who struggle most with technology aren’t slow or behind. They’ve just never had someone explain it in plain language, at their own pace, without making them feel foolish.

That’s why I started Indigo Solutions — to be that person.

What I do

I help everyday people and small businesses make sense of technology: cybersecurity and online safety, the new wave of AI and smart tools, and the everyday decisions about what software, devices, and services are actually worth your money. No jargon. No sales pitch. No condescending “did you try turning it off and on again?”

When you reach out, you get me — not a call center, not a script, not a queue. Someone who understands the learning curve because I’ve spent decades helping people through it.

Who I work with

If you feel overwhelmed by the constant stream of new tech and just want a calm, trustworthy guide, I’m for you. If you run a small business and need practical technology decisions without an enterprise budget or an enterprise headache, I’m for you. And if you’re simply tired of being talked down to and want straight answers, you’re in the right place.

How I can help

Every week I publish plain-language guides over on Everyday Tech, Clearly Explained — real questions, clearly answered. And when you’d rather talk something through one-on-one, I’m here: patient, practical, and on your side.
