Privacy Policy

Indigo Solutions LLC — Effective June 2026

Plain-English version: I collect only the information you choose to give me through this site's contact form, I use it solely to respond to you or send occasional updates (if you opted in), and I will never sell or share it. That's the short version — read on for the details.

1. Who We Are

Indigo Solutions LLC is a solo technology consulting practice owned and operated by Michael Black. This privacy policy applies to the website at indigosolutionsllc.com and explains how information submitted through this site is handled.

If you have any questions at any point, you're welcome to reach out directly at michael@indigosolutionsllc.com.

2. What Information Is Collected

The only personal information collected on this site is what you voluntarily provide through the contact form. That form asks for:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Device type (e.g., mobile, tablet, desktop — to help understand your technical context)
  • Your question or message (free-text field)
  • Newsletter opt-in — a checkbox you can select if you'd like to receive occasional updates

None of these fields are required except where noted on the form itself. You're always in control of what you share.

Beyond the contact form, this site does not collect any personal information independently. Squarespace, the platform that hosts this site, may collect certain technical data as part of normal website operation — see the Cookies section below for more on that.

3. How Your Information Is Used

Information you submit through the contact form is used for two purposes only:

  • To respond to your inquiry. Your name, email, phone number, device type, and message are used to reply to you and provide the information or assistance you asked about.
  • To send occasional updates — but only if you checked the newsletter opt-in box on the form. These updates might include tech tips, service announcements, or relevant industry news. You can unsubscribe from these at any time by replying to any email or contacting me directly.
No spam, ever. If you did not check the newsletter box, your email address will only be used to reply to your specific message — nothing more.

Your information is not used for advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose beyond the two listed above.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

This website is built and hosted on Squarespace (squarespace.com). When you submit the contact form, your information is stored within Squarespace's secure infrastructure. Squarespace maintains its own data security practices and is subject to its own privacy policy, which you can review at squarespace.com/privacy.

Contact form submissions may also be forwarded to Michael Black's email inbox for the purpose of responding to you. Email is stored in a standard, password-protected email account.

There is no separate database, CRM system, or other third-party data platform involved in storing your information.

5. No Selling or Sharing of Your Data

Your personal information is never sold, rented, or traded. Period.

Your data is not shared with any third parties for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes. The only exception is Squarespace itself, which processes and stores form submissions as part of hosting this website — and that's a technical necessity, not a data-sharing arrangement.

If disclosure were ever required by law (for example, a valid court order), only the minimum necessary information would be provided, and I would notify you to the extent legally permitted.

6. Cookies

This site does not run ads and does not set tracking cookies for marketing or behavioral targeting purposes.

However, because this site is hosted on Squarespace, Squarespace sets standard cookies as part of normal website operation. These typically include:

  • Analytics cookies — to collect aggregate, anonymized data about site visits (e.g., page views, referral sources). This helps understand general traffic patterns.
  • Functionality cookies — to support basic site features like form behavior and session management.

These cookies are managed entirely by Squarespace. For full details on what Squarespace collects and how to opt out, see their privacy policy and cookie policy.

Most browsers allow you to control cookie settings. You can also use browser extensions or your browser's built-in privacy tools to limit cookie activity if you prefer.

7. Your Rights — Including the Right to Be Forgotten

You have the right to ask me to delete any personal information I hold about you. Just send an email to michael@indigosolutionsllc.com with your request, and I'll take care of it promptly — typically within a few business days.

You can also request:

  • A copy of any personal information I hold about you
  • A correction to any information that's inaccurate
  • To unsubscribe from newsletter emails at any time

There's no complicated process here — just send an email and it'll get handled.

8. Children's Privacy

This site is intended for business and professional use. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and no information is knowingly collected from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, please contact me so it can be removed.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated in a meaningful way, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. For significant changes, a notice may be added to the site. This policy will always reflect current practices — checking back occasionally is the best way to stay informed.
