Welcome to Everyday Tech, Clearly Explained
Hi, I’m Michael. I started Indigo Solutions on a single premise, make technology simple. I help everyday people get a handle on their technology — without the confusion, the jargon, or the feeling that you’re falling behind.
This blog is called Everyday Tech, Clearly Explained — and that title says exactly what it is. Twice a week, I’ll post a short article on a tech topic that comes up all the time. Things like:
Why does my phone keep asking me to update? What does “the cloud” actually mean? How do I know if an email is a scam? Is my password strong enough? What even is two-factor authentication — and do I need it?
These are real questions I hear all the time. And the answers don’t have to be complicated. I’m going to break them down in plain English — no tech degree required.
What to Expect Each Week
Posts go up every Tuesday and Thursday. Each one covers a single topic, written the same way you’d explain something to a friend. No long lists of steps that assume you already know what they’re talking about. No pushing expensive gadgets or apps that you don’t need.
Just the good stuff — what it is, why it matters, and what (if anything) you should do about it.
This blog is for anyone who uses AI, a phone, a laptop, or the internet — and wishes someone would just explain things clearly. Whether you’re running a small business, helping a family member with their device, or just trying to stay safe online, you’re in the right place. No prior knowledge needed.
Indigo Tip: Bookmark this page and check back every Tuesday and Thursday. You might be surprised how much you already know — and how simple the things you didn’t know can be.
